The table below describes the percentage of home-schooled students in Somecountry in 1999-2004
The table compares the percentage of students who enrolled the different grades from 1999 to 2004.
Overall, the percentage of students for all grades rose gradually over the entire period. It was noticeable that students of kindergarten accounted for the highest proportion among all grades.
More specifically, about 2.4% students enrolled the kindergarten in 1999, while the number of other four grades was between 1.5% and 1.6%. After five years, the proportion of students rose to 2.9%. Next came students from Grade 3-4, the number of which experienced a similar pattern as the number of kindergarten, rising gradually from 1.6% to 2.2%.
Another evident trend was that the figure for grade 1-2 and Grade 5-6 fell in the year of 2000 and 2001, after which it grew slowly in the up-coming years. Apart from that, there was a short period with a flat trend in grade 7-8, where the percentage of students was 1.6% three years in a row (the year of 1999, 2000, and 2001). Thence, the percentage of students who studied in this grade increased to 2.5%.
