The provided chart shows the data in terms of underground subway systems in six cities. This displays three kinds of details, which are the year when the public started to use them, the distance of the route, and the number of passengers per year. There are two salient features, one is the oldest railway and the other one is the station which is used by the largest number of passengers.
As the data shows, the London underground is the oldest railway system which opened in 1863. It goes up to 394km, and this is the longest route among the other cities' railways systems. The number of passengers of London underground is not relatively less, while the number of people who use the Tokyo railway is higher than any of those of other cities. The smallest number of passengers of the railway is fifty million in Los Angeles, while the figure of the same category in Tokyo is 1,927 million.
Overall, detailed data indicates how many public citizens use the underground systems in their country. These data differ from the characteristics of each city.
