The table below compares the percentage of people spending money on three various purposes in five countries in 2002.
It is clear that the propotion of each category is different in each country and food/drinks/tobacco account for highest percentage; meanwhile, leisure/education are less popular in overall.
Turkish’s expenditure on food/drinks/tobacco is highest among five countries with 32,14 percent. Meanwhile, the figure for Sweden is lowest, at 15,77 percent. Clothing/Footwear are not as famous as Food/Drinks/Tobacco with highest percentage is 9 percent in italy. Otherwise, there are just 5,4 percent of Irish consume clothing/footwear in 2002.
Consumers seem spend less money on leisure/education. Only 4,35 percent of Turkish pays attention on it, which is highest propotion. In comparison, Spainish’expenditure on leisure/education is lowest, at 1,98 percent.
