The table illustrates the customers spend their savings on three different categories such as food/drink/tobacco, clothing/footwear, and leisure/education in five nations during the year 2002. The unit is measured in percentage.
Overall, Turkey spends the most indifferent categories when compared to all the other countries. Besides that, people from different states preferred to spend the most on food/drinks/tobacco; however, the same people have the least tendency in spending when it comes to leisure/education.
In terms of the food industry, this category is quite popular in spending, both Turkey and Ireland have the highest number of consumers in this area (32.14% and 28.91, respectively). However, all remaining territories show a slight difference in numbers with Spain being the highest at 18.80%. Moving on to clothing/footwear, Italy customers spend more than double the amount of Sweden with 9.00% and 5.40% respectively. Whereas, the remaining nations spend almost the same amount when it comes to clothing.
When it comes to Leisure/education, there are small variations in all five countries, with Turkey spending the most at 4.35, and Spain the least, at 1.98%. In addition, Italy and Sweden share the middle spot with spending on leisure/education.
