The table chart illustrates the number of waste production in 6 different countries from 1980 to 2000.
Overall, the waste production in the USA, Poland, Portugal, Ireland, Japan increased dramatically and only Korea was the nation that reduced the amount of waste over a twenty-year period. The USA had the highest amount of tonnes.
First of all, there was 0.6 millions of waste products in Ireland in 1980 and in 1990, this number was not available then reached to 5 millions in 10 years later. Secondly, Japan had 28 millions of tonnes in 1980 before rising significantly to 53 millions of tonnes in 2000. Thirdly, the amount of waste in Poland was higher than Portugal by double in 1980 and both increased slowly by 1 millions in 1990 then increased slowly to 6.6 millions and 5 millions respectively in the next 10 years. In addition, the USA had the highest number of waste production, which took 131 millions in 1980 and this figure witnessed a huge change, which rose enormously by 60 millions of tonnes in 2000.
On the other hand, in 1980, there was no figure of waste production in Korea in 1980, while it held 31 millions in 1990. After that, there was a downward to 19 millions in Korea in 2000.
