The table provides information about the amount of money which four car companies in the UK spent on advertising in 2002.
Overall, it is clear that Tv was the most popular medium, while the opposite was true for Cinema. In addition, Renault is the largest investment company in advertising.
In 2002, Cetirizine was spent the highest on Tv advertisements, $70 million, which $5 million higher than figure for Vauxhall . Meanwhile, the proportion of Renault and Rover were slightly lower, at $59 million and $45 million respective. In terms of advertising in the Press, $45 million was invested by Renault company, followed by Rover $ 38 million. By contrast, Cetirizine and Vauxhall offer only $12 million and just $8 million for Press programs.
Of the other forms, the Cinema and Outdoor incurred the lowest costs, with less than $10 million spent by companies. It is notable that expenditures on Radio advertising by all car manufacturers were similar, at $15 million each.
