The given table indicates the amount of utilization Nuclear, Coal and lignite, Petroleum products, Hydro and wind and other types of fuel by Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea and Japan during the year of 2005.

Overall, Malaysia is the only country with higher amount of utilization of Coal and Lignite, amounting to 61%, whereas, Thailand has utilized only 3%.

The data reveals that Japan utilized 49% of Nuclear fuel while Thailand has nil utilization. South Korea being the second highest (33%), and Malaysia and Singapore being third and fourth ( 19% and 13%). It is interesting to note that Singapore, South Korea and Japan had utilized only 3% of Petroleum products, while Singapore and Japan had used the same amount in other fuels (39%).

South Korea had the least utilization of other fuels (11%) in comparison to the rest of the countries. While comparing to the rest of the fuels, South Korea’s least utilization was Coal and lignite (5%).
