Given is a table explain about the proportion of different categories of families living in poverty in Australia in 1999.

From tabular column ,we can say six different types of households are given.those are single aged person,aged couple,single with no children,couple with no children,sole parent,couple with children.

Overall,more than 1.83 million people are facing poverty in Australia.Mainly couple with children type had approximately one million people under poverty.However ,out of six categories sole parent had highest proportion with 21%, follows with singles with out children had 19%,couple with children had 12%, remaining single aged,aged and couple without children had 6%,4%and 7% respectively.

We can conclude in the given all types sole parents had highest proportion and aged couple facing less poverty among all.
