In view of seeing a celebrity, over half of UK adults have taken part in entertainment activities for last 20 years, and still remains as the primary reason at 56%. The percentage of adults who accompany kids for these events stood at 9% at the beginning of the study and has risen to just below 3 times (24%) today. Similarly, work reason has nearly doubled from 6% to 11% over the period.
In contrast, art events have reduced its popularity as a reason for celebrations in 3 folds, from 27% to 9% for last 20 years.
