Overall, the most two obvious vehicles are motorcycles and light trucks. While vehicles for passenger were the most registered form of transport, the light trucks were far higher in terms of growth.
As shown in the table, the number of cars being registered under motorcycles continued to rise into the foreseeable future, with 30.8% recorded for the growth from 2010 to 2014. Throughout the timescale, the number of light trucks were 106,000, however, it dropped to 12,400 in 2012, before recovering to 131,000 in 2014. The proportion given for the change of light trucks was 23.5%. Moreover, between 2010 and 2014, there has been a slight increase of 17.4% for cars listed under commercial type.
Conversely, in 2010, the percentage of passenger cars reached a record high of 11,800,000 among other types, but the growth pattern carried on slowly with only 10.2% change noted for overall time frame. Lastly, the change figure for heavy trucks stood at 8.3% after they experienced a small upward trend since 2010.
