The table shows data about what people in the UK thought the government should increase spending on.
The given table illustrates the information about what people in the UK thought the government should spend more money on in 3 categories: health, education and other areas.
Overall, it can be seen that the vast majority of males and females believe that the state budget should be increasingly spent on education and health. In addition, while most young people paid attention to education, old generations focused more on health.
In terms of gender, more than half of men think the government should allocate more money towards education, whereas only 32% was spent on health. Meanwhile, the expense for health of women was 48%, which was a higher percentage than males, about 16% and only-fifths was concentrated on education. The expense for other areas was 13% and 12% according to males and females’s oppinion.
In terms of age group, more than half of citizens in the UK from 35 to 65 years of age had an idea that the government should spend more money on health than on education. On the other hand, a large number of young generations demanded using money on education and the expenditure for other areas received different opinions from various age groups.
