The table illustrates the different numbers of salaries in terms of three standards (maximum, minimum and average) paid by five different employment sectors in a European country in 2009.
It is immediately apparent that Finance possessed higher numbers in all the standards and lowest salaries can be seen in the sector of hotels except the minimum salary.
The highest salary was paid by the employment sector of Finance, more than three times of hotels and double of construction and manufacturing, at 7450 Euros. Followed by transport, remarkably lower than finance but considerately higher than the rest sectors, at 5480 Euros. Apparently, compared with other sectors, finance saw a significantly higher figure regarding for minimum salaries, which was the only one over 1000 Euros. Similar numbers can be seen in other countries for this item, around 850 Euros, excepting manufacturing, which was slightly higher, at 964 Euros.
Also, the highest average salary paid by finance, and followed by manufacturing, with both more than 2000 Euros, at 2560 and 2098 Euros respectively. Transport and construction shared an equivalent figure, around 1700 Euros. Hotels saw a smallest number, only half as less as that of finance, at 1256 Euros.
