The table shows the number of nuclear weapons owned by different nations in different years.
The table illustrates the amount of weapons made from nuclear components that belonged to the following countries namely: China, France, Germany, Japan, Russia, UK, and USA for the years 1965, 1990, and 2005.
Overall, USA has the most number of weapons within the mentioned years. On the other hand, Germany and Japan had the least ownership from 1965, 1990 and 2005. It is also evident that most of the countries had a fluctuating trend of possession with the exception of the two countries, Germany and Japan, which had remained the same within the comparable years.
It is clearly evident that the nation of USA had the greatest amount of warheads for the years 1965, 1990, and 2005 which gives a number of 378, 7534, and 6976 respectively. In addition, for the years 1965 and 2005, the table demonstrated similar ranking. It is clearly visible that following USA, Russia came next. After Russia, we have UK in the 3rd place, followed by China on the fourth, France on the fifth, and Germany and Japan in the sixth place.
In 1990, it is noticeable that there was a slight change between the ordering of China which has taken the third place with the greatest amount of nuclear weapons possessed followed by UK. Also, it clearly shows that the countries Germany and Japan had not owned any weapons for war with nuclear components from the years covered and demonstrated.
