Overall, the leading company of mobile phone market was Nokia, which increasing their share to the market approximately 32.5% in 2005 and 35 % by 2006. While BenQ mobile was the lowest level in 2005 (only 4.9%) which fell down their status in the share market following year with a mere 2.4%. Furthermore, Motorola and Samsung had later highest position in sales and manufacturing of mobile phone.
With regards to mobile phone sales, Motorola spent 17.1% share of market in 2005 whereas it rose to 21.1% by 2006. While Samsung started their percentage of share with 12.7 % in 2005, which fell down to 11.8% by next year. Sony Ericsson also had a significant percentage of share on the mobile phone market from 2005 and 2006 ( about 6.3% and 7.4 % respectively). Moreover, LG remained almost stable in global mobile phone sales.
According to the table, other companies also had some share in worldwide market share about 19.2% in 2005 whilst it declined to 16.2 % by 2006. In brief total amount of share percentage in the mobile phone market was equal (100%) in both years.
