Task 1: The bar chart showed the percentage of school children learning to play four different musical instruments (violin, guitar, piano, drums) in 2005, 2010, 2015.
Given is a bar chart depicting the proportion of students playing 4 separate music instruments, commencing from 2005 to 2015. Perceptibly, guitar was the most popular instrument for students while drum and violin were the least students courses.
In terms of the guitar and piano courses, the proportion of students in these classes ranked first through the period of 10 years. The percentage of students in a guitar course was 10 percent in the year 2005 which was doubled in the 2010 and reached its zenith of 27% in the last 5 years. There was a corresponding trend in the piano class except for the less than 3 percent in each period to the guitar course.
According to the data, the proportion of students in drum and violin class which was 5% percent stayed unchanged in the first 5 years. In the year 2015, the percentage of students in drum class overtakes the violin course with a surge of 3 percent.
