Overall, the expenditure on teachers' salaries in all years were the highest proportion which were much higher than spending on insurance. In addition, the figure for other workers’ salaries decreased over the observed period.
spending on teachers ‘ salaries accounted for the largest proportion of expense, with 40% in 1981, 50% in 1991 and 45% in 2001. While the expenditure on insurance increased from 2% in 1981 to 8% in 2001, the figure for other workers ‘ salaries decreased from 28% to 15% during the period.
In 1981, the spending on Resources eg books and furniture and equipment were equal, with 15%.
