The pie charts compare the yearly expenditure changes for a certain UK school in five different categories in 1981, 1991, and 2001 in percentages.
To begin with, it can be clearly seen that in 1981, teachers’ salaries and other workers' salaries were the highest. During this 20 years period, teachers’ salaries fluctuated between 40% and 50% while other workers’ salaries constantly reduced from 28% to almost half in the same years. Furthermore, the only which did not show any decrement is insurance and it rose from 2% to 8%.
To continue with, when it comes to resources e.g., books and furniture and equipment, although resources e.g., books increased from 15% to 23% between 1981 and 1991, it fell considerably to 9% until 2001. On the contrary furniture and equipment reduced from 15% to 5% first 10 years, after that, a sharp growth was observed.
In conclusion, it is understood from the graphs that all given school spending had some variations, nonetheless, the minimum change is seen for teachers’ salaries while the largest is insurance for that particular school.
