The three pie charts show the proportion of four kinds of vehicles used in the UK in 1965, 1985 and 2005. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The pie chats elucidate the innovation of different kinds of cars used in the UK during the four decades from 1965 to 2005.
It is evident that the most noticeable changes occurred for the dominant, private cars in comparison with other indicators. It witnessed a dramatic expansion in its rate from 47% to 74% over the decades. Likewise, the upward trend happened in the minority, recreational vehicles. The percentage of that had climbed to 9% from 4% during the period is shown.
Nevertheless, in terms of public transport, a draft plunge can be seen in its percentage. It ranked second at 29% in 1965 before bottomed at 5% and became the least in 2005.
Following the same pattern as that, lorries and other commercial cars fell to 12% with erratic fluctuation, where it, initially, stood at 20% in 1965.
Overall, it can be seen that private cars are becoming the mainstream, following that, the recreational vehicles are developing but still take up a small space in total vehicles used in the UK over the 40 years.
