This pie chart shows information about the local cinema goers in 2002. The visitors to the cinema are divided based on their ages into different five groups: 10-15, 16-20, 21-30, 31-45, 55 and older.
Stated in the chart, the group with the highest percentage is the older people, whose age is above or equal to 55. At 51%, they account for more than half past of the cinema visitors. People who were between 31 and 45 years old showed the least interest and their percentage of visiting cinema went lowest at 5%. Among the other three groups, younger people showed more interest than the adults and thus the percentages of people who were 10-15 and 16-20 are 21% and 15% respectively, while the proportion of cinema visitors aged 21 to 30 was only 8%.
As an overall view, the majority of the local cinema visitors in 2002 is the elder people aged 55 or over. After the age 20, the interest of going to the cinema declined according to the graph and increased dramatically among the older age group.
