A glance at these provided pie charts reveals the amount of fuel source used in both Australia and France from 1980 to 2000.
On balance, during the period shown, both the total electricity production in both Australia and France saw a noticeable rise. Moreover, similar to their total units were, the figure for each fuel source was remarkably exceptional.
The largest segment in the pie chart of Australia in 1980 belonged to coal with 50 units followed by that in natural gas, hydropower, and nuclear power. Besides, the units of coal electricity rose rapidly by 80 units and consistently ranked first in 2000. Meanwhile, the figure for nuclear power in France increased up to nine times.
In France, electricity production by coal and gas shared a comparable figure, with accurately 25 units, and accounted the biggest one in 1980. Ultimately, number of coal usage saw a modest growth to 25 units as same as that for oil, whereas units of natural gas and hydropower fell to the minimum threshold.
