I, Pia Roy, Assistant Manager at company xyz, am writing this letter regarding few left behind papers at your hotel. it happened during our annual meeting held at the Conference Hall at your hotel on the 15th if October'20. The papers were kept in a blue fabric folder with our company logo of xyz on it. I had brought along the papers for my presentation and must have forgotten them at the podium.
The papers are valuable as it contains many confidential information as well as our upcoming project details. I also need to submit the same by the next weekend for final review, and thus the urgency to find them at the earliest.
I would be really grateful, if you could check with your Lost and found department and let me know if the papers were found. Once you confirm, I will pick it up from the hotel. The documents being confidential, I request you to keep them safe until it is restored back to me. For the purpose of restoration of the papers, please let me know if you require any specific identification document or letter.
