The graph depicts data on how many shops closed and opened in one country from 2011 to 2018.
Overall, the number of shops closed and the number of shops opened experienced a downward trend. It is clear that the number of stores opened is higher than the number of stores closed.
Looking at the line graph, we can see that the number of shops opened was the highest at 8,500 in 2011. This figure was substantially dropped to 4,000 in 2012. However, there was growth again in 2014. In the following years, this figure of shop openings markedly declined to 3,000 in 2018.
In 2011, the number of closings was about 6,500, and this number continued to decrease to 6,000 in 2012. Although this number had significant growth, it just stood at 6,600 before falling dramatically to 800.
