Modern technology has made it easier for individuals to download
copyrighted music and books from the internet for no charge.
To what extent is this a positive or a negative development?

As the world approaches information age, people can access to copyrighted professional resource easier and easier. Therefore, some individuals say this not benefit human beings' creativity even destroy the whole civilization, but the other people do not share who perceive knowledge should be exchanged widely under any situation. However, this essay agree the former view rather later one, and furthermore copyright should be protected in any case.

Transparently, the authors of music or books will lost the enthusiasm to create new works, if People broadcast the copyrighted music and books occasionally. Firstly, people can download authors' works without charge resulting that the authors will have lost income to guarantee their life standard. Secondly, people who downloaded copyrighted music and books from the Internet freely will spoil the fair rule undoubtedly, because the authors of books or music has spent amount of time and finance to improve their skill. Basing on above discussing, if people continue to pirate copyrighted music and books, no people will not write new books and music.

Furthermore, not only can piracy affect the benefits of authors, but also it will destroy the whole human beings' civilization. First of all, if the knowledge can easily access, people will not admire the books, music, recipe, et cetera. For example, individuals can easily download electronic books from the Internet during the short period, they can read few books. Because of this fact, the knowledge of the whole society can not update, meaning its technical and scientific level is stagnating. Thus, people who download copyrighted book and music without authority will prevent the progress of human beings' community.

However, the other persons say that if people can easily downloaded resources from the Internet, it will benefit mankind's development. They usually take developing countries as example. Although, people living in developing countries gain tremendous knowledge from the Internet without any charge, the knowledge level of the whole society gain not impetus.

To recapitulate what is analyzed, This essay supports that the first view completely. People can download copyrighted books and music for no charge is totally negative, and furthermore the lawmakers should institute some codes to limit this behavior.
