Essay topics:

6. You found a piece of lost luggage with someone's belongings labeled with their name and address. Write a letter to the owner.

In your letter
• describe the luggage you found;
• explain where you found it;
• suggest how the owner could get it back.

Dear Mr. Sam,
I trust this letter finds you well. I intend to write this letter to inform you that I have come across a suitcase which has your name written on it, Sam Smith, address 123 Ontario, Canada.
I found this suitcase yesterday near KFC Cheetham Hill Street while I was returning home. This is a large size black suitcase with your details. The case seems intact until now and is not broken at all. I cannot guarantee the availability of luggage inside it as it is still locked with secret codes you might have. But I am assuming no one has tried opening it till now. I can safely say it is in safe hands now until it reaches back to its original owner.
I have two suggestions to work out for return. Firstly, i suggest I take it to the nearby police station and you can pick it up by confirming your identity. Or, we can meet at Cheetham Hill KFC at your convenience and i can return it you in person. I am comfortable doing either way.
I am determined to return the suitcase to you as I understand that lost luggage can create chaos.
I look forward to your confirmation on any plan to proceed further.
Yours Sincerely, Jack
