Although you have never formally studied computing, you have always been interested in computers. You have just read about a computer course that really.interests you, but it is only for people who have completed an elementary course.Write a letter to the

Dear Sir/Madam,

I, Divyasree, am writing this letter to ask for permission to join in the computer course which was advertised in ‘’ The Hindu’’ Newspaper. I would like to inform you that I had never done any course formally from the institutes, but, I was using the computer for so long to complete the mini-project works assigned by my lecturers.

In detail, I am a science graduate and come from a middle-class family. We do not have sources to join the expensive colleges to learn the basics of computers. Hence, I learnt them practically whenever I visited the internet café to do the project work.

Moreover, I can assure you that the knowledge learned so far would prove to you that I am an eligible candidate to gain further understanding of the computer. I would like to know if you can consider me to join the course on an exception basis. If you wish, I can give the exam, and then join in the intermediate level category in your institute, which could be beneficial for searching for a relevant job in computing.

I eagerly look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,
Divyasree Reddy
