The bar shows the percentage of people going to cinemas in one European country on different days
The bar chart illustrates the proportion of moviegoers in a specific European country in different days in a week over a four- year period from 2003 to 2007.
Overall, there are an enormous fluctuation in the number of people watching movie in cinema each day in a week. Another interesting point is that the people rather going to the cinema on the weekend than on Monday to Friday.
Looking at details, in 2003 the percentage of audience in the cinema reached the peak at 40% on Saturday while this figure for Friday and Sunday similarly is 30%. In the other days, the number of people higher at around 17% on Tuesday and lowest in the middle of the week, which just is a quarter of the Saturday’s figure, under 10%.
However, in the next 4 years, the number of moviegoers in cinema has been improved remarkably. The cinemas experienced a dramatic raise on Saturdays in 2005 and 2007, at 45% and 43% respectively. Meanwhile, this figures for the Wednesday fell down steady from above 155 in 2003 to 14% and 5% in turn. Finally, the proportion of people going to cinema stayed unchanged over the period on Friday, at 30%.
