The charts below show the proportions of British students at one university in England who were able to speak other languages in addition to English in 2000 and 2010 Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make compariso

The two pie charts compare the percentage of students in Britain who learn different foreign languages, except for English between 2000 and 2010.
It is noticeable from the charts that Spanish is the most prevailing subject chosen by students, and the second pie chart witnesses an overall increase in many parts. Spanish, which attracted the largest number of students, experienced a slight rise to 35% in 2010. The only language which became a stable option for British students in the 10-year- period was German, remaining constantly at 10%.
The proportion of students speak only their mother tongue initially double the figure for German, however, it made up an equivalent fraction of one-tenth after a considerable drop. The French language was the third one with the same minimal fraction of learners after a fall of one-third in the decade. By contrast, there was a moderate climb by 5% of students in both choosing to study at least one or two other languages, and its figures represented 20% and 15% respectively in 2010.
