An English-speaking friend wants to spend a two-week holiday in your region and has written asking for information and advice.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter,
• offer to find somewhere to stay
• give advice about what to do
• give information about what clothes to bring
Dear Mary,
I am so glad to hear that you would be coming to our city to spend holidays. It has been a long time since we last met. I am very excited to have a get together after we have finished our studies.
You do not need to worry about the accommodation here in Karachi. I will find you the best rated hotels near my residence with reasonable charges. Commuting is not a major problem as I own my car and you are free to use it anytime during your stay. There are many activities to do here therefore I will try to make sure you are not going to miss any of the fun as long as you are here. You can visit many historical places here such as Quaid-e-Azam Mausoleum and Frere Hall. The best place to attract tourists here is the seaside. Food streets are the major cause of outing and having fun at night time in Pakistan. When you are going to spend time, you will probably enjoy more than anyone else and I will definitely enjoy your company as well. And please, don’t forget to bring warm clothes this winter as it becomes very chilly and airy at night time.
Hope to see you soon.
Regards
Huma
