A friend who lives in another country has invited you to come and stay with him/her on your next holiday. You are too busy to accept the invitation.

Write a letter to your friend. In your letter,

*Thank him/her for the invitation

*Explain why you cannot come

*Ask him/her about other times to visit

Dear Rancy,

I hope you are doing great ! Thanks much for the invitation.

I appreciate your time and efforts to plan for my stay in Canada. I understand how you have been planning for our get together from long time.

However, my relatives have planned for a vacation in my next holidays. They are coming all the way from India.

As they were very desperate to visit U.S.A I coludn't say no to them. Also, I had been postponing their plan from long time so I have to spend my holidays with them this time. Hope you understand my situation rancy.

I think we can catch up in december for christmas. As its festive season I would not be having much work also I can opt for work from home. Hope this works for you as you will be having holidays in december. Hope you have no other plans for this christmas. In case, if you have other plans suggest other alternative months.

With love
