A friend of yours is thinking about applying for the same course that you did at university. He/She has asked for your advice about studying this subject. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter
a.give details of the course you took at the University
b. explain why you recommend the university
c. give some advice about how to apply
Write at least 150 words. You do not need to write any addresses. Begin your letter as follows:
Dear______________,
Dear Smriti,
I received your letter yesterday and am glad to hear that you are also interested to study computer admin course in NIIT University. I hope you have attended career counselling that was provided to us in school and have taken sufficient time to take the decision.
Let me first provide you with the details of the course. The course has 2 modules, namely, system admin and network admin. The system admin course is further divided into two components. It will cater to both windows and linux operating system.
Coming to my recommendation for NIIT University, I feel this is the best place to study this course. As you know, I had done lot of research on Universities before joining NIIT. The conclusion of my research was that NIIT provides this course at a very reasonable fees with world class infrastructure. They also provide study material for the certification exam which was lagging in other Universities. Another important factor which gives extra edge to NIIT is that it is world renowned and has placements in some of top MNC companies.
Lastly I will brief you on the methods for applying. The university has both online and offline application forms. Both would need you to pay a small fee. However, my advice would be to apply online. It not only saves time and doesn't have unnecessary trips to post office but also allows you to pay the fees online. If you go for offline application then you need to get bank challan for the fee payment and have to send the application within a week to the admission department.
I hope I was able to clarify all your doubts and hope to see you soon.
Yours faithfully,
Madhulika
