A large company in your area has decided to spend a certain amount of money, either to sponsor a local children’s sports team for two years, or to pay for two open-air concerts. It has asked for feedback from the general public.
Write a letter to the company.
In your letter,
describe the benefits of sponsoring the sports team
summarise the benefits of paying for the concerts
say how you think the company should spend the money
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear Sir or Madam,
Dear Sir,
On behalf of residents in Indralok, we thank you for your recent announcement, to spend a certain amount as a gift for the local people in this area. As the choice is up to the general public, whether they want to opt for the development of local sports for children or open air-concerts, I have a suggestion as mention below.
By sponsoring the sports team of youths, will help the family who are not able to support financially and also comprehensive training. The donation will help children to be skilled and confident while representing at the national and global level.
On the other hand, the concert may boost the morales of the people also to take music as a profession. Many of them do not consider music as a career option these days, due to limited opportunities in the nearby areas. Such a concert can motivate them to be on stage and entertain the crowd coming to the show.
My suggestion would be to keep the concert as a charity funded so that whatever money comes in can be utilised for the development of the teenager's sports team. This idea can help to adroit both sports as well as music culture in the local area.
I hope you take the necessary decision as fruitful for the community.
Yours faithfully,
Shreyas Parab
