A local college is having an international day. You want to speak about your country to students from different cultures.
Write a letter to the college head. In your letter:
Tell him/her about the topics that you are going to talk about
Explain why would they be of interest to the students
Ask about any arrangements that you need to make to give the talk
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to get permission for speaking about my country For college's international day. I come from iran and in that day I want to present my country's history and culture. iran has over 2500 years old which during this time, it is full of empires' rise and fallen, conquest and defeat and large number of scientists. From cultural point of view, iran maybe has the richest culture in the world. we have a lot of traditional and religious celebration and festival. Asa result, In my opinion iran would be very interesting subject that can be peresent.
I wonder if there is any necessary arrangement that I have to do before college's international day, like registration, coordination or any thing else.
I am looking forward to hear from you.
Yours Faithfully,
Amirreza Hashemi
