The pictures demonstrate the transformation of the Colwick Arts Centre between 2005 and now. There are some noticeable changes were made in buildings, including sizes, locations, and recreation facilities.
In 2005, the Snack Bar in the top left corner was demolished and replaced by two meeting rooms below, next to the new drama studio. If the concert hall and cinema were in the same place then now they are separated, with the concert hall is expanded on the right. In addition, they constructed the café and relocated the toilet behind the concert hall. Next, both galleries were in the right-hand corner of the centre, whereas now there is only one gallery in front of the café.
In former times, there was an empty land outside the centre which is called "Wasteland". Nowadays, there are trees and an outdoor exhibition in there. Besides, the central exhibition area was erected in the center of the map and the information desk still remain.
Overall, the Colwick Arts Centre changed considerably over 16- year period and became more attractive than before.
