My name is Rachel Jameson, and I am working as a support executive in your company. The purpose of this letter is to inform you that I am keen to avail the facility of working from home.
My daughter and I are suffering from fever as well as cough, and I am supposed to be with her till she gets normal. Moreover, because of breakdown of Coronavirus, I want to make sure I stay away from the rest of the team in case I am contagious.
As I am working at backend staff and my position does not require any dealing with clients. Therefore, working from home will not affect my duties. In fact, company will be benefited as there will be no use of office resources, such as electricity, transportation and also the food service. Moreover, the flexible working hours will allow me to finish the tasks as per my convenience. Apart from this, I can take care of my child.
Further, I would require some assistance to build a set up at home. If I can bring a laptop from office, I will be able to perform my duties. Besides this, if you can request the senior executive to give me access of cloud software so that I can work directly on organisation’s portal. And, there is a requirement of an internet connection at my place because everything is online.
I hope you will consider my situation and allow me to work from my place.
