Dear sir or madam,
I am writing to you to complaint about the waste collection in Delware colony. The culprit is punctuality of garbage truck.
Since past month, the garbage truck is not arriving on time. Earlier, it used to collect waste every Thursday and Friday between 6:00 A.M. to 8:00 A.M.. However, now it only comes around once a week and the even the timings fluctuate by a large margin.
This whole ordeal, in turn, is affecting everyone living in the colony. There is only so much a dustbin can contain. Thus, everyone has to put the rubbish bags outside the dustbins which has become the culprit for foul smell in various places in our society. Furthermore, waste invites bugs and I am afraid these insects can lead to various diseases.
Therefore, I request you to look into this issue and resolve it. I propose, the waste collection should be done atleast twice every week. If that is not possible, then the council can install bigger dustbins in the colony. This will help with the foul smell and insects as these containers will be able to hold more waste and the infrequent waste collection will pose no threat.
