The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and in 2010. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant
The diagrams illustrate changes in the path traffic to the city hospital in the years 2007 and 2010.
It is clear that the principal change to the city hospital was roundabouts instead of crossroads in 2010. Various other developments with regard to the bus station and public car park have accompanied the building of these roundabouts.
Looking at the map of the city hospital in 2007, we can see that a main road to the infirmary run through hospital road from south to north. The bus stops had situated along either side of the hospital road. Moreover, the parking place was overall and for the staff either for the visitors of the hospital.
The map view a bit changed in the years 2010, the bus station was built along the west side of the hospital street instead of the bus stops. Furthermore, the parking place has separated into two spaces: the staff car park close to the hospital road, it seems that increased in the area, and the public car park. Comparing both diagrams, the city hospital has remained surrounded by the ring road.
