Write a letter to a colleague who gave you a book that helped you for presentation at work.
Describe the presentation
Why was it important?
How did it help you?
Dear Naina,
I hope you and your family are doing great.
First of all, i want to thank you for lending me your book. It has been a great help for me during the last few days while preparing my presentation. As you know, i have been discussing this with you from the last few months about my presentation on the marketing strategy for the sales of IT equipment. This presentation was really important for me, as my promotion completely depended on the success of this.
While i was preparing the content, i realized that your book, which i borrowed from you for few days, 'marketing knowhow' by Martin has amazing topics related to the sales strategies and marketing values, which could help me form my ideas more effectively, and yes it did help a lot.
Further, not only everyone loved my presentation format, but also i have got several appreciations for marvellous ideas to elevate the IT equipment sale. Again, i can't thank you enough for lending me your book for this long, which really saved my life and brought me a promotion.
Please let me know when can you visit my place or should i come to yours? we celebrate this win and off-course, the party is on me.
Hope to see you soon.
Best wishes
Harpreet
