Write a letter to colleague who gave you a book that helped you for a presentation at work.
You should:
1.Describe the presentation
2.Why was it important
3.How did it help you
Dear Shalini,
I am writing this letter to thank you for lending me your book for my presentation. This book helped me in many ways and I am glad to inform you that the presentation went well. Everybody liked the presentation and I was highly appreciated for my work. Moreover, the presentation was extremely comprehensive and covered all aspects of the topic.
Furthermore, your book “The solar energy” turned out to be crucial for my presentation. As the presentation was on solar energy, the results of various studies mentioned in the book were used in the presentation. Also, I got in-depth knowledge of solar energy with the help of this book. Interestingly, this book helped me with not only the content for the presentation but also the organization of ideas.
In addition to this, I had adopted technical vocabulary from the book to make the presentation look more professional. Indeed this book was a great support.
Thank you once again for the help.
Yours faithfully,
