Dear Sir or Madam,
I am a resident at Thakur complex, Kandivali west. I am writing this letter to complain about garbage collection in our area. We all people have been suffering this issue for the last month.
Let me explain the menace at length. Garbage collection is very irregular in our colony. Sometimes the litter collection team comes once in a week which results in the accumulation of huge garbage. Due to this, the garbage spreads in the whole lane and makes it dirty, even we are unable to walk properly in the colony. Moreover, bad smell comes out of litter which affects air quality and deteriorates the health of people.
Many members have been suffering from respiratory diseases for the last week and I am too concern about if it would spread to other members of the area and my family. What will happen if this problem becomes so severe that it will be too late to control it?
To solve this problem on priority, I expect to collect all garbage from our colony as earliest and sanitize the whole area properly. For the long-term solution of this issue, I am requesting you to increase the frequency of garbage collection such as daily or alternatively.
Hope you would understand the seriousness of this issue and take appropriate action as soon as possible.
