Write a letter to give advice to a friend who lost a job

Essay topics:

Write a letter to give advice to a friend who lost a job.

Dear Tom

What a pity to know that you feel depressed as you lost your job. Don’t feel upset and try to cheer yourself up, since we all know when a door closes, there are plenty that open!

It is yourself who best know why you cannot stay with the previous job. For any reason, I think it is good now you can have a pause and evaluate yourself to see what your strengths and limitations are. With this reflection, you might get ready for and even get better prepared for a new job.

Life is not all about working. So at the moment you can find something interesting to entertain yourself. Play some sports, and go to some music club, for example. This way you can enrich your social life, and extend your relations that may bring you new opportunities for your potential career.

Finally, follow vacancies columns in the media and do not miss any chances of promising job offers that fit you!

Stay optimistic and luck will find you. Trust yourself and be confident that you are competent and skillful for various jobs.

That’s it for now. Stay in touch and be strong.

Best,

Tony
