You are applying for a job and need a letter of reference from someone who knew you when you were at school. Write a letter to one of your old teachers asking for a reference. in your letter
• Say what job you have applied for.
• explain why you want this job.
• Suggest what information the teacher should include.
Dear Sir,
As you may know, I graduated last year and I am seeking for an appropriate job right now. The office where I applied for, has asked me to provide a letter of recommendation. I was wondering if you could help me with that.
When I graduated from collage I tried to find a position based on my major. therefore, I decided to apply for a job in a well-known telecommunication company. it is one of the main network operators in the country with many different branches though all over the country. I would really like to be hired by this company because of the high salary rate and other benefits that the position would offer. Moreover, it is a nine to five job so I could have some quality time with my family.
The human resource department has sent me an email containing specific template for the letter of reference. I would be happy if you kindly consider it in your letter. Teamwork, moral behavior and final grades should be included in this letter.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Your faithfully,
Payam Esmaeilpour
