Dear…
Dear Mohammad,
Hi. How’ve you been doing? I hope this letter finds you well.
The other day, I was looking at the ads in a newspaper that an advertisement for a cooking class caught my eye. The course is going to take place in the college located in Downtown from June 11th to 14th from 17 till 19.
I personally find this course interesting, and I thought to inform you so that we can attend together. Ever since I left Iran, I’ve been having trouble with the local food in Canada. I even tried some iranian restaurants, but their food failed to satisfy me, thus, I’ve decided to give it a try to learn myself how to cook iranian food, which is what’s going to be taught in this course. I remembered you complained about the same trouble, and so I hope you’ll find the course helpful, as well.
If you’re having second thoughts whether to join or not, let’s discuss the idea in person. Is June 4th look with you? I propose going to the bar near your place, therefore not only can we hang around with each other after a while, but we’ll be able to discuss the course while having some cold beers.
Pass on my regards to your family.
Yours,
Aidin
