I am writing in respect to the advert your company placed in CityJobs Magazine yesterday, for the role of a Research Assistant. I am interested in having a career growth with your company.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Science from Loughborough University, and a Master's degree in Forensic Science from Queen's University, London. I would love to apply for the role of Head of Research Unit in your prestigious company, with my working hours as 9-2 due to my ongoing doctorate degree at the Queen's University, where I hope to brush up on my skills and gain more knowledge.

I have 10 years work experience in the research field working as a Research Officer at Medcare Hospital for 5 years, and heading the Cancer Research team at The University of Hull, where I was in charge of data analysis, calculations, and laboratory research. My team at the University Received an award for the Most Resourceful Team, and I have received various praises and my salary was raised four yearly due to the relentless effort I put in my work, and the positive results we achieved.

Working with your company will help me grow career-wise, and have an international opportunity as I have always hoped for.
