You are studying for an exam, and you would like some time off work to complete it.
Write a letter to your immediate manager.
In your letter:
Ask for some time off to complete a qualification.
Suggest what you will do later at work if you have time off.
State how this qualification helps your job or company.
Dear Mrs. Kaur,
I am writing this letter to request for a break from work due to an exam which is approaching soon.
My exams are in the next week and I could not study enough due to the time constraints. Since I have the least amount of time left for the exam, I need leaves for few days so that I could concentrate on my course. Therefore, I would request you to approve my time off request considering my situation.
Once I would be done with my exam, I promise to work extra hours every day to compensate the leverage given during my preparation time. Moreover, I would create the reports which are usually done by others.
When I began my professional career with this organization, I enrolled in the VBA course because the subjects were helpful to hone the skills required for my designation. Consequently, I would be able to do the coding for our reports and the company's websites that would be beneficial for our venture.
I await for your prompt response.
Yours Sincerely,
Chirag
