You had just missed a friend s party white a letter apologizing and stating reasons why you could not attend the party ask how fun was it

Dear Emma,

Hope you are doing great. I am writing to apologize as I could not visit you to celebrate your's daughter birthday with all of you.

Let me explain my situation in detail. When I got an invitation letter from you, I was sure about to attend the birthday party but unfortunately the day before party I was told that there is an urgent meeting in the office and the person who is leading that meeting met with an accident. I was also working with that person so I was aware about the presentation and other details also. Therefore, there was no other option other than to attend the meeting in place of that person.

I feel sad because I missed the celebrations of first birthday of rachel. I would like if you could tell me about the fun you all did during party. I would be more happy if you send me some photographs so I could see the glimpse of party. I express regret as I did not wish rachel birthday wishes in perso. I wish her belated happy birthday and may her all wishes come true.
