- Polite. No one responds to insults.
- Outline what you wish from this. What do you want to happen?
- Firmness. You want to be taken seriously.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the quality of food that I have eaten and the type of hospitality, I received last evening at your restaurant. Let me explain it.
I had a birthday celebration of my wife at your renowned restaurant and we decided to order from the menu given to us. Beside, all we wanted to have a delicious dinner and what we order first was not available as informed by the waiter. Secondly, when the order took it was conveyed by the attendant that the waiting time is 10 minutes, however, we received it after 30mins. In order to avoid further embarrassment we did not order anything else. Moreover, the taste of the food was terrible.
In this event when the evening was spoiled and my wife was unhappy on her birthday. Hence, I would like you to deliver proper meal within stipulated time with finger licking taste at our home address that too free of cost, as a surprise to my wife. Also, I wish that you will take the feedback positively and will try to improve the quality and availability of the items mentioned in menu. Above all, there are plethora of other incidents but I think the predominant I have mentioned.
The whole scenario has been narrated to you and believe that it will not be repeated and you will take all the necessary steps seriously.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely
Jack
