Dear Sir or Madam,
In reference to your letter received on 25th Oct. 2017, I am writing to express my disagreement with regards to the charges applied due my account was overdrawn.
I have had my account in your bank since 2010, and I have been using it for all my transactions without any issues. Unfortunately, incorrect charges $75 have been recently issued due to uncovered amount in my saving account number A/C 3456772.
However, when I received the latest bank statement, I discovered that it did not include $500 refunds by Carrefour due to a return purchase processed by my debit card. Therefore, my account balance dropped below the overdrawing limit. Generally, If the refunds were processed on timely manner by your bank system, I should not have received the deduction notification.
As this is clearly your bank system mistake, I would request you to reflect the refunds into my account as a matter of urgency and waive the additional charges ($70) accordingly. Please ensure all my transactions are updated in your system on time in order to avoid such confusion in the future.
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
SAM
