You have just received a credit card statement from your bank. The statement lists a number of expensive purchases that you are sure you did not make.
Write a letter to the bank manager. In the letter:
• Introduce yourself.
• Explain that you did not buy the items listed.
• Say what you would like the bank to do to fix the problem.
Dear Sir,
I am writing in connection to inform you about the list of expensive things purchased in credit card. I am preeti an old customer of your bank. I never had any complaint from your bank. In despite that this statement seems wrong to me as thing which purchased through my card are of no use for me.
In the statement it show that I purchased a hand bang from zara worth rupees 10,000 on dated 2nd July from Chandigarh. On this day I was travelling to Shimla with my family and come back after few days. This bag is quite expensive and thus the payment of credit card is quite high. Apart from this many things are their which were not bought by me a headphone and makeup kit.
It would be great if you check the details of statement with your credit card department and send it back to me, So that I can pay the amount without fine.
Look forward to hear from you as soon as possible.
Your faithfully,
