You have just spent a week with a friend on holiday. When you got home, you realized that you had left your wallet there.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:
thanks to the friend for the holiday
explain that you left your wallet in their house
give instructions on how to send it back to you
Dear Samantha,
I hope you're doing great. I am writing this letter to let you know that I've forgotten my purse at your place, which is very dear to me.
Firstly, I would like to express my gratitude for giving me warmth and love during the week-long holiday with you. We've enjoyed ourselves a lot at home and on the trip to the theme park at your locality. All the memories of vacation are still reminiscent of my mind.
Secondly, I left my precious wallet at your home, which contains some plastic money and my driving license. As I have had enough money to spend for the whole week, I must not consider to put it into my bag. I vividly remember that I have kept it in the lower drawer of your main closet. I realized everything when I needed to scan the driving license for my coming exam of transportation services.
Finally, as you know that this purse is not only a necessity for me but also given by my father, it would be appreciated if you could send it back to me by post as soon as possible. You can even send it to my official address, which is attached herewith.
Please let me know if you require any further information.
Best regards,
Kate
