You have missed some important papers accidently in a taxi.
Write a letter to the manager of the Taxi company. In your letter:
Give the details of your journey
Explain why those papers are important for you
Suggest what can the manager do
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to inquire about some extremely important papers which I forgot in one of your taxis.
On 24th March 2019, I took a taxi from Downtown to Marina walk at 4 PM. The car plate number was 48759 licensed to Dubai with the driver name Chris. I was in a hurry to attend a relative funeral and that made me forget my papers in the back seat of the cab.
Those documents hold significant value to me as its the only identification confirmation I have to sit in my upcoming exam. Without it, I would not be allowed to enter the examination hall. If I would try to get it again from the government authorities, it would take me at least two weeks. But my exam is due in 2 days time and I am on the verge of failing my final semester because of losing this paper.
I would be grateful if you could ask the same driver, I am sure the documents would be with him. Please arrange an urgent courier or inform me of the office location from where I can collect it.
I am eagerly waiting for your immediate response.
Yours faithfully,
Ahsan Abid.
